Student Alexander Tarvet at Abertay University, Scotland has come up with an innovative way to help people explore and understand the emotional impact of Alzheimer’s disease.

Part of his graduation show and degree course, Alexander came up with a computer game called Forget-Me-Knot, the game gives the user a direct, first-person experience of this difficult and stressful disease.

Alexander explains: “Computer games are one of the greatest ways to let people safely explore a situation they’ve never experienced, as you’re creating a whole new world to explore. Many games deal with fantasy and fiction, but I wanted to look at something much more serious…”
