The Care Certificate
The new Care Certificate, launched in April 2015, has been created as a national standard for health and social care support workers in England.
Working to ensure that all care delivered by health and social care support workers is of a good quality and consistently delivered, the launch of the Certificate is the result of a Government review and subsequent recommendations on the recruitment, learning and development, management and support of health and social care support workers . The Care Certificate is now mandatory for all new employees and the start of professional development within a career in care. the Certificate also offers existing employees the opportunity to update and improve their skills and understanding.
